Leaders of Color is evolving and moving into a new phase of work. The Leaders of Color program will now work within DFER’s newest initiative—DFER South—in an effort to build a broader bench of education champions in areas facing tremendous challenges in education equity.
Many key issues, like the economy, immigration, and abortion, are dominating the national conversation in the lead up to the 2024 elections. However, one critical issue that directly impacts the future of our communities—education—seems to have slipped from the forefront.
