Supporting Louisiana's High School Students

Leaders of Color Louisiana is working to bridge the gap between high school and college so that Louisiana’s kids have a chance to get their degrees, get good jobs, and build wealth. We are working to help students who complete CTE courses make the transition to college easier and more affordable by expanding CTE dual enrollment opportunities in our public schools through our support for Louisiana House Resolution 101 (HR 101).

An Attack on Education in Louisiana

Leaders of Color strongly condemns the resolution requiring schools to report programs related to critical race theory (CRT), diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), or transformative social emotional learning to the Louisiana Department of Education (LDOE) and Board of Regents. We believe that this resolution is an attack on education and an attempt to silence important conversations about race and equity in our schools.
