Jonae Wartel is an organizer, trainer and innovative leader with over a decade of experience empowering communities and inspiring change. She currently serves as VP of Advocacy and Elections at More than a Vote, a coalition of black professional athletes fighting black voter suppression through advocacy, education and mobilization. She previously served as Ga Runoff Director for the Democrats effort to flip the balance of power in the US Senate. Originally from Marietta, GA; she first began her work in Georgia more than a decade ago working with local candidates. She has served as southern Regional Director for the Democratic National Committee (2017-2019); Chief Program Officer at Organizing Corps 2020, an initiative focused on training 1000 organizers for the 2020 presidential election in key battleground states including Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin and Arizona She worked on the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Presidential campaigns.
